That reminds me of that line from Ghostbusters II - hardly the type of behavior you expect from a major household appliance.

Fantastic line, but I think Venkman said that in the first movie, about the devil dog creature that was in the refrigerator. I am not 100% sure though.

Was it the first one? I thought it was the second one... but maybe you're right. I'll have to watch. Wait - the second one was the evil guy in the portrait. It must be the first one.

"Treacle is any syrup made during the refining of sugar cane[1] and is defined as "uncrystallized syrup produced in refining sugar".[2] Treacle is used chiefly in cooking as a form of sweetener or condiment."
Treacle - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

If this is true, then Golden Syrup, black treacle and molasses are all types of [sugar cane] treacle.
To me, molasses is thicker and rawer than "black treacle". My uncle used to feed molasses to his dairy cows. I like black treacle, but this stuff tasted foul.

Why would your uncle feed it to dairy cows? I know this is off-topic, but I really would like to know.
