'My brother came with me as the previous time.'

'As the previous time, my brother came with me.'

Are they both correct? Both wrong?

'My brother came with me as [STRIKE]the previous time[/STRIKE].'he did previously.

'As [STRIKE]the previous time,[/STRIKE] he did previously. my brother came with me.'

Options.

I guess it's okay, but try:

My brother came with me as he did before.

I agree that "as he did before" is more natural but it also has a slightly different meaning. The original specified a single previous occasion, while "before" could be more than once.

Wait, I just thought of something else. Shouldn't it be 'as he had done before'?

.....or, like he did before. And the options grow.

They rarely shrink.

Another option:

My brother came with me like he did last time.
