I use "glid".
 
It's completely new to me. I don't like it and advise learners not to use it.
 
I'm happy to advise learners not to use it, but I can still picture the English teacher who was responsible for my learning the following forms:

slide > slid
glide > glid
learn > learnt
earn > earnt

I'm aware that "earnt" has been queried here by other BrE speakers, and I note that my spellchecker underlines it in red as an error. I no longer use "earnt" on the forum. However, "glid" is not underlined by my spellchecker.
