[Grammar] Asked to and Used to

Checkmate
You do not get the meaning of 'come to', an idiom. 'Come to' does not go with killing(gerund) or murder.

You say you come to(reach) a stage or a state e.g.
He comes to a realisation that he has been cheated.
All the hard work he has done has come to nought(wasted).
