[Grammar] At/in the same?

Could you possibly tell me which one is correct? They used to go to the same school or they used to go at the same school.

#1 is now OK. I don't know what you mean by #2.

Always capitalize "I" (first person singular pronoun) and proper nouns (English, Iran).
Use inverted commas (" ") or quotes (' ') when necessary.
Use correct spacins after punctuation marks.

As 5jj told yoou already, the meaning of the second sentence is not clear.

You can say "Will you stay at the same hotel when you come back?" or "Will you stay in the same hotel when you come back?" They are both correct.

#2 is not a correct English sentence. I don't know what you mean by "They used to go out at/in the same school". If you mean they attended the same school then you don't need the phrasal verb "to go out". You simply say "They used to go to the same school". Is that what you meant?

Remember the rules of written English:

- Start every new sentence with a capital letter.
- End every sentence with the relevant punctuation mark.
- Always capitalise the word "I" (first person singular).
- Capitalise proper nouns (English, Iran etc).

'...to the same school' is correct.

You have edited your original post, Nima, which is not a good idea, as your new question could easily have been missed.

Please note that the default font size is adequate for most purposes and you only need to use bold words for special emphasis.

I'm glad someone else spotted that you had completely rewritten your first post. That is not a good idea. The rest of your original post has now gone and a lot of our responses now look like nonsense.

As I said in my first reply "They used to go to the same school" is correct.
