[Grammar] At vs. On the last day

I am coming across the following two forms again and again:

at the next day (e.g. we went ...) vs. on the next day (e.g. we went ...)
at the last day vs. on the last day

Getting confused! Appreciate clarification. Both forms acceptable?

Only on is acceptable to me.

Where have you seen "at the next day" and "at the last day"? I agree with fivejedjon, only "on" is acceptable.
