I didn't hear anything like that. Also, it makes no sense. They obviously did punch. Quite a lot!

As I understand it you can set it to show captions. (I tried without success.)

Added: Why you didn't provide that important piece of information in the first place is a mystery.

Yes, although the /d/ of punched is hardly pronounced.

To be fair, you asked us only about the words in two seconds of dialogue (0:49-0:50). When you ask us to help you with things like this, please give us as much of the entire sentence that you already understand as you can.
