The NO.8 typhoon is being closed to Hong Kong around 300km.( It's the first time the typhoon was closing Hong Kong. )

The store will be closed at 11:00pm every day.

Why would the store only close at 11pm? If this is a big typhoon, why not simply close for a day or two?

I guess like with covid, typhoons are more dangerous if people are out late at night.
