She might not be beautiful in appearance but she is beautiful at heart.

Is the phrase beautiful at heart correct to mean that she is beautiful from within?

In this particular context, I would prefer "she has a beautiful heart". I don't find "beautiful at heart" ungrammatical though.

Some people will, of course, tell you that you really shouldn't comment on people's appearance.

If I try to translate the sentence word by word, it is easy to understand what you mean in Chinese.

But #3 "she has got a beautiful heart" is more grammatical sentence.
