Hi folks, could anybody explain what Dorothy’s last line mean? It’s from the scene where Stan (Dorothy’s ex-husband) is showing pictures of his new house in Maui in The Golden Girls, Season 1, Episode 2. (Chrissy is Stan’s new wife and Kate is Dorothy and Stan’s daughter.)

Stan: That's me and Chrissy at a luau.
Dorothy: Is she the one with the apple in her mouth?
Kate: Ma!
Dorothy: You know, she looks pretty good for being in the ground for two hours.

Thanks.

Pigs with an apple placed in their mouths are often roasted in coals buried in the ground at a Hawaiian luau.
