I saw this on a test posted by someone in a WhatsApp group.

According to me 2 should be correct.

In your last thread, we clearly told you that from then on you must be able to cite the source and author of any text you post. You've failed to do so again. We told you "a test someone posted on WhatsApp" wasn't enough. I'm locking this thread.

I will tell you that none of the options lead to a grammatical sentence. The options aren't the problem - one of the words in the main sentence is wrong.
