Do you find the phrase "UK food" unnatural?

There are some differences between the cuisines of England, Scotland and Wales. For instance, there is the deep-fried Mars bar, which I believe is uniquely Scottish. So "UK cuisine" is not a very useful term.

I don't think 'UK cuisine' is any more (or less) useful than 'British cuisine'. We simply use the former less than the latter.

It doesn't make good sense. When talking about culture, we use British. The term UK is a mainly political term, which is why it's used when talking about systems and organisation, but not about things like food, fashion, language, music, etc.

I would have thought "haggis" as the Scottish example.

I have tried haggis. Revolting.
