I'm looking for a new textbook that would focus on practical business English. I really liked working with Market Leader by Pearson because each unit started with a series of conversation topic and brainstorming activities, it contained recordings from interviews with actual business people, not actors, and each unit ended with a case study roleplaying exercise that required coming up with a solution to a problem in a fiction company described in a detailed background story.

Could you please recommend a textbook or two?

It really depends on what you’re looking for—do you need help with emails, presentations, or negotiations? Also, feedback and reviews can be useful when choosing a resource, but not all reviews are fair or accurate.
