In the song ‘Call Me Maybe’ by Carly Rae Jepsen, it is said

“You took your time with the call
I took no time with the fall
You gave me nothin' at all
But still, you're in my way”

Does ‘but still’ mean ‘but you are still in my way’?

I guess it's more like 'however' or 'even so'. The singer is thinking about this boy despite the fact that he gave her nothing at all.
