A guy and a friend are looking at pictures from his wedding. He got married 10 years ago.

Guy: It's been ten years. Can you believe it?

Is 'can you believe it?' perfectly natural here? Would it be understood to mean something like: 'isn't it hard to believe that it's already ten years ago?'?

Thanks.

Yes.

The only thing you need to clear up is whose wedding it was. As written, it could be the wedding of the "guy" or his (male) friend.
