Are there any errors in these sentences? I am helping my friend who is getting married soon and wants to write email to her Manager. Her company is big and it has a rule to send email to staff about wedding of staff one month before their wedding vacation. Thank you.

Can you make the announcement of my wedding one to two weeks before I go on my wedding vacation. It will be too stressful for me to deal with questions and well wishes from colleagues for more than two weeks.

It's an unusual rule, but I'd go along with it. Getting a hundred congratulations in just two weeks would be twice as distracting as getting them spread over a month.

In fact, that's probably why the company has the rule.
