Chocolate or chocolates?

Is my sentence incorrect? --> You ate all the chocolate!

"You ate all the chocolate!" is fine, although this would normally refer to a bar or block of chocolate. For a box of various individual chocolates, I think "You ate all the chocolates!" would be more usual.
