What is the difference between comparative and superlative

Have you done any research? What has your research told you?

You can start by reading about comparatives here, and then click the link to superlatives from that page.

Comparative used to compare 2 things We use 'than'(taller than)
Superlative used to compare 3 or things use'the'(the tallest)
But I 'am confused why do we say'more beautiful ' but not "beautifuller"? Is there rule for long words?

What is the difference between comparatives and superlatives?
Every sentence must end with one appropriate punctuation mark. Whenever you ask a question, you must end with a question mark.
Comparatives are used to compare 2 two things. We use 'than' space before a bracket (taller than).
Note my corrections above.
Superlatives are used to compare 3 three or more things. We use space here 'the' space before an opening bracket (the tallest).
Note my corrections above.
But However, I 'am I'm (or I am) confused.
Note my corrections above. As a learner, don't try to start sentences with "but".
Why do we say space here 'more beautiful' but not 'beautifuller'? Is there a rule for long words?
Yes. The general rule is that if an adjective has more than two syllables, we use "more + adjective", not "adjective -er".

Before you start worrying about the technicalities of English grammar, I suggest you work on the basics, especially the use of punctuation and capital letters.

Thank you. I understand the important rules and your clear explanation

And yet you again failed to use a full stop at the end of a sentence. There's no point asking us for help and advice if you're going to ignore it.

Dear emsr2d2,

You are correct. I failed to use full stops and capital letters properly in my previous posts.

Thank you for your patience and for correcting me again.

I have now understood the rules. I will check every sentence for punctuation and capital letters before I post.

Best regards,
Piraveena.
