content? meaning

I don't understand the meaning of content and its part of speech here:
Open the content updates folder on your computer.
It's a part of a instruction for a software's stuff.

In the context of computer software you usually install updates. Thus this sentence doesn't make sense.
It could be rewritten as
"On your computer, open the folder which contains the updates."

However, if you are using a content management system (CMS) "content updates" might work here.

I would read it to mean the folder containing the "content updates", if such a thing exists.
