I've implemented a "Reset" button in a text editor that triggers this confirmation message:
"Are you sure you want to reset the editor's content?"

I'm debating whether to remove the apostrophe:
"Are you sure you want to reset the editor content?"

Context:
This message appears when users attempt to restore the editor to its default state, deleting their current work.

Question:
1. Is the possessive form ("editor's content") grammatically necessary here?
2. Which version is clearer/more natural to native English speakers?

Thank you for your expertise!

P.S. Here's the actual application if it helps.

I would keep it the way it is (editor's content). It seems more natural that way. However, I don't know what editor's content is.

In the context specified (restoring the editing "device" to its default state), I think I'd find the following the most natural:

Are you sure you want to reset the content editor?
