For your second question, yes it's possible.

Hmm, is it possible to "have a contract to supply ..." while you're working at school as a teacher? Maybe it's something similar to "temporary contract"? You work and they pay you only for the hours that you teach. You don't get paid when you're on a sick leave, on vacation etc.

But what you described doesn't seem to indicate any temporariness. It's more like a contract giving you limited rights.
