correct sentence

"kindly consented to be the chief guest" is a correct sentence or not?

Those words alone do not constitute a complete sentence. However, if you will be adding the name of the person (and perhaps the event), then it looks OK to me.

Brad Pitt has kindly consented to be the chief guest (at the convention).
