I finally came up with the following version based on @jutfrank suggestion:

An announcement will be posted right here on the channel, detailing the new content and its folder location, and crediting you for contributing.

I find the above a bit wordy.

How about the following?

An announcement will be posted here on the new content and its folder location, and acknowledgment of credit to contributors.
or
We will post an announcement here on the new content and its folder location, and acknowledgment of credit to contributors.

What about "...announcement here on the aknowledgement of credit..."?
