"credit" or "the credit" to you for contributing?

I finally came up with the following version based on @jutfrank suggestion:

An announcement will be posted right here on the channel, detailing the new content and its folder location, and crediting you for contributing.
I find the above a bit wordy.

How about the following?

An announcement will be posted here on the new content and its folder location, and acknowledgment of credit to contributors.
or
We will post an announcement here on the new content and its folder location, and acknowledgment of credit to contributors.

Do you see the problem?
Try again.

i have separated the third item from the first two as it is totally different and is awkward to have them all together . I think it it not so much how the sentence is phrased (which was the same as the OP's original) but you found the word "acknowledgement" clumsy in my previous sentences.
