Hello dear teachers!
I was wondering why the preposition ''from'' is used after ''criticism''?
Shouln't it have been ''for'' instead?
Erdogan had widely been expected to win despite criticism from some of his authoritarian style of leadership. link
Thanks in advance.
While the sentence is correct, I believe it would have been clearer if it had read "... despite criticism from some for his authoritarian style..." or if from some had been omitted.Hello dear teachers!
