cry a tear or cry some tears

The following words are from a website， which have been shortened by me:

If you’re scared
hide your eyes,
(cover eyes)
If you’re sad，
cry a tear, (boo hoo)
If you’re angry ,
stomp your feet, (stomp, stomp)
If you’re happy ,
shout, “Hooray!” (Hooray!)

Please tell me what the red words mean. "cry” is usually accompanied with many tears rather than "a tear".

I can't find any reference to crying or being angry in the link you posted.

To "cry a tear" implies a little sadness-temporary and not very serious. Since the verb cry=water coming from the eyes (tears), in general usage, we normally just say "cry". I hope this helps!
