Diary - I got sick three weeks ago

This is an entry from my diary. Please check it and correct any mistakes.

I got sick three weeks ago and recovered recently. The symptoms were very similar to the ones I got last year, so I was worried that I might have gotten a temperature but, forturnaly, I had only itchy and inflamed throat. It was weird that I survived the winter but got sick in spring. Maybe it was due to drastic temperature change.
