This is an entry from my diary. Please check it and correct any mistakes.

I'm considering to buy a Kindle reader because I recently learnt that it has a dictionary function. The built-in app provides the definitions of the words above the text. We can choose the difficulty of the book, and according to the difficulty, the system will adjust the amount of definitions. I like that function because I don't like consulting dictionaries. However, my concern is whether the gadget strains my eyes. Many users holds opposing views so I might borrow my friend's Kindle to see if it's a good fit for me.

I'll do full corrections later but, for now, just learn this:

After "considering", we use the -ing form of the next verb.

I'm not sure what you mean by "amount of definitions". 🤔

The dictionary provides the meanings of words above the text of a reading material, say a book, and can adjust the length of explanation according to the level of difficulty of the text.
How does the app "read" the material you are reading before providing the explanation?

No. I meant the app will decide on which words are difficult to readers. For example, if I choose "easy" mode, then fewer words would be provided with explanations. However, I just watched a simple introduction video so I'm not sure if what I think is correct. :ROFLMAO:

Does choosing easy mode mean you think you need less help than with the others?

Yes. If I choose "difficult", the system will show explanations for more words it considers difficult for me.

OK. The computer decides for you what words you need help with, right?
