Diary - I'm currently reading the book Fairy Tale

I'm currently reading the book Fairy Tale by Stephen King, which is a dark fantasy story follows a boy and his dog who venture into a strange world under the ground. I'm a third of way through and find the story starts getting interesting. This book's writing style is very different from the book I previously read. This one includes a lot of idiom and slang. I have another two books of Stephen King, which are The Institute and Mr. Mercedes. I bought Mr. Mercedes seven years ago and I still haven't read it because it's too difficult for me. After I'm finished with Fairy Tale, I might borrow a Chinese translation copy of the two books if I still find them difficult to read.

Yes.

Surely you have some interest in the book in the first place, or you wouldn't be reading it. Also, if the story is not compelling (does not hold your interest) then surely you would have put it aside before getting a third of way through. (That certainly doesn't recommend Stephen King as a writer. )

I bought it because it's Stephen King's book.
