This is an entry from my diary. Please check it and correct any mistakes.

This afternoon, I accompanied my dad for a regular eye check-up. After he finished the check-up and we got out of the room, the nurse told us some information about the next one. As she was talking, I suddenly recognised her voice and looked at her name tag. She was my secondary school classmate! I can't believe I remember her voice because we weren't that close in school.

How about "the nurse spoke to us about the next appointment" since an appointment is made to suit the time for both sides' which requires both input.

How about "the nurse spoke to us about the next appointment" since an appointment is made to suit the time for both sides no apostrophe here which so requires both input from both?
Note my corrections to your post.

They might not have been discussing the date and time of the next appointment. Perhaps that appointment was already scheduled and the nurse was simply giving them some information about it (such as "Remember to bring your glasses" or "We'll be putting some drops in your eyes that will dilate your pupils"). There's nothing in the original that suggests they're scheduling the next appointment.
