Differences among "a newspaper", "a piece of newspaper " and "a copy of newspaper"

What is the difference/are the differences among "a newspaper", "a piece of newspaper " and "a copy of newspaper"?
1. Does "a newspaper" mean "a kind of newspaper"?
2. Does "a piece of newspaper" indicate one piece of newspapers which usually consists of several pieces?
3. Does "a copy of newspaper" suggest all pieces of newspaper?
