Do we say "I take quilt sleeping" or "I take blanket sleeping"?
Is "take" wrong here?
We use "in" for things that surround us. You can say "I sleep in a sleeping bag" or "I sleep in a tent". If you wanted to use "in" with those two items, you'd have to make it clear that you're enclosing yourself in them.
