Do you recall how we concluded the overtime matter in the call we had with Damian & Rajesh some time back?

Should we write "some time" together i.e. without a space?

Should we use "s" with time? if not, why?

Please clarify.

I would not turn "some time" into "sometime" in that context. Why would you want to add an "s" to "time"?

I just thought it's a long time has been passed so we should add "s". But I understand it's wrong.

Also can you help me to understand when can we merge some time?

"Some time back", to me (BrE) means a considerable amount of time ago.
"Sometime" means on an unspecified occasion. (Nothing to do with the length of time from the present.)
"Sometimes" means on an unspecified number of unspecified occasions.
Only with two separate words does it mean an amount of time.

I think 'sometime' could be used if 'last month' was used instead of 'back' above.
