Does "Update the icon theme inheritance to Adwaita" sound natural in English?

Hello, I've got a config file where I set an Icon theme in the 'Inherits' property. It acts as a fallback when the main theme doesn't have certain icons. It is specified like so:

[Icon Theme]
Inherits=Faba

However, I modified it like so:

[Icon Theme]
Inherits=Adwaita

Would it be natural to summarize the change by saying, "I updated the icon theme inheritance to Adwaita"?

To be more specific and follow a log file guidelines favoring present tense and the commanding form, the phrasing should be: "Update the icon theme inheritance to Adwaita." Does that still sound natural and correct in English?

How about just using: "Update the Inherits property to Adwaita" or maybe "Set the Inherits property to Adwaita" ?
