Can I use both sentences for the same meaning in the same situation?

If there is some difference in usage and meaning, how can I use the phrases correctly?

The usual way to say that is the first one. Do you want them to mean the same thing? Why?

I'll guess what you probably mean:

This question is easy for me.

= I don't/won't have difficulty answering this question.

This issue is important to me.

= I am personally invested in some way in this issue.
