What are the differences between these two bold words? Do they have the same differences as "interesting/boring,.." and "interested/bored..."

Television programmes can be entertaining and enjoyable.
Viewers have access to a huge variety of entertainment channels.

What are the differences between these two bold words? [STRIKE]Do they have[/STRIKE] Are they the same differences as between "interesting" and "interested"; and "boring" and "bored"?
No, interesting, interested, boring and bored can be adjectives but never nouns. In the above example, "entertaining" is an adjective, but "entertainment" is a noun.

I think "entertainment" in "entertainment channel" is an adjective or adjectival noun.
