What are the differences between these two bold words? Do they have the same differences as "interesting/boring,.." and "interested/bored..."

Television programmes can be entertaining and enjoyable.
Viewers have access to a huge variety of entertainment channels.

Something considered as entertainment is designed to be entertaining.

No, interesting, interested, boring and bored can be adjectives but never nouns. In the above example, "entertaining" is an adjective, but "entertainment" is a noun.

I think "entertainment" in "entertainment channel" is an adjective or adjectival noun.
