Have I used "secret sauce" correctly? Are these okay?

1. Everton F.C. have some secret sauce when it comes to developing players and selling them at a high price.

2. The carpet weaver has some secret sauce for making such beautiful carpets. He's not going to share it with anyone.

3. This car manufacturer has a secret sauce for producing high-quality cars. Other manufacturers have been trying to reach its level but they can't succeed no matter how hard they try.

4. These brokers have a secret sauce for locking deals. If you want to learn that secret sauce, you should work with them for a few months.

5. The girl has a secret sauce for attracting followers on Instagram.

6. The anchor of the TV has a secret sauce for attracting audience.

7. Jill has a secret sauce for making delicious lasagnas. I've asked her a few times but she wouldn't share it with me.

8. Her husband has some secret sauce for making raisin cookies. I've download the recipe from internet but his cookies are so much better.

Apparently, "secret sauce" is mostly used in American English.

I've certainly never heard it used that way in BrE.
Is there something in British English that would mean "a secret element, quality, ability, or practice that makes something or someone successful or distinctive"?
Something I could use in the sentences in the first post.

I'd just use "has/have found the secret to ..."

All your uses of "secret sauce" seem fine to this AmE speaker. However, sentence 6 has an error. TVs don't have anchors, but some TV programs do.
