What are the differences "famine" and "drought"?
 
What are the differences "famine" and "drought"?

FAMINE means a lack or severe shortage of food during a long period of time in a particular place. DROUGHT, on the other hand, refers to long period of time when there is little or no rain. In this case, people are in need for water, not food.
