Fatima said, "I must travel to Karachi next week for a conference."

I created the above sentence.

Can I ask what's the reported speech of that sentence?

We expect you to try first.
Yes sure.

This is my try:

Fatima said that she must travel to Karachi next week for a conference.

That's fine if the reporting takes place in the week before the trip.

That's fine if the reporting takes place in the week before the trip.
If the reporting takes place after the trip, how would you say it?

Fatima said, "I must travel to Karachi next week for a conference."

I created the above sentence. Can I ask what's what the reported speech version of that sentence is?
Note that "I have to" is more natural (in BrE, at least) than "I must" in that sentence.
Note my change to your question. By starting with "Can I ask", you need to change what the standard question word order would be. It would have been simpler for you to omit "Can I ask" and just say "What's the reported speech version of that sentence?"

Fatima said that she must travel to Karachi the week after for a conference.
That's not quite right. Again, I would point out that it would be more natural to say "she had to" but, more importantly, there's a better choice than "the week after". It still involves three words but the first word is "the", the third word is "week" and there's a different word in between them. Can you work out what it is?

Can you work out what it is?
Do you mean "the following day"?

Fatima said that she had to travel to Karachi the following day for a conference.

Is the above one now correct if the reporting takes place after the trip?

Yes, "the following ..." is right but why did you change "week" to "day"?

That's fine if the reporting takes place in the week before the trip.
Here, you said the below sentence is fine.

Fatima said that she must travel to Karachi next week for a conference.

Does the below one also sound fine to you?

Fatima said that she has to travel to Karachi next week for a conference.

Here Previously, you said the below sentence below is fine.
Fatima said that she must travel to Karachi next week for a conference.

Does the below one below also sound fine OK? to you?
Fatima said that she has to travel to Karachi next week for a conference.
Yes, that's also OK.
Note my changes above. You've stumbled across a weird quirk about the word "fine". We use it in positive declarative statements but not in the negative or interrogative!

a) Fatima said that she must travel to Karachi next week for a conference. ✅
b) Fatima said that she has to travel to Karachi next week for a conference. ✅

c) Fatima said that she must travel to Karachi the following week for a conference. ❌
d) Fatima said that she had to travel to Karachi the following week for a conference. ✅

You can't use 'must' for past obligation so sentence c) is wrong if the following week refers to past time. If it refers to future time, it's okay.
