Hello everyone,
From the book Psychology of hope by Charles Snyder.
Once we had decided what we were fishing for, Gus seemed to become even more certain we would succeed. He would tell me to think about how great it would be to catch a fat bass. In his mind’s eye, he could see it happening. I could, too. When fishing with Grandpa Gus, there was a sense of excitement. Even on those rare occasions when he wasn’t catching anything, he was constantly thinking and experiencing. Long hours would fly by and it was as if, in modern terms, we were in some altered state of consciousness. There was a flow to the whole experience. Getting tired never was much of a problem because things were so interesting.
I'm not sure what "a flow to" means in "There was a flow to the whole experience."
Does it mean something like Everything/Things went smoothly when fishing with Grandpa Gus?
