Is this sentence correct:

1-The play was a disappointment for the publicity it had received.

and does it mean:
a-The play was a disappointment considering the publicity it had received.
or:
b-The play was a disappointment in spite of the publicity it had received.

Gratefully,
Navi.

1-The play was a disappointment for the publicity it had received.

That sentence means nothing to me.

I agree - I don't know what this is supposed to mean either. My guess would be "considering"" but I really would be guessing.
