Can I use the present perfect in the second sentence below if I talk with a friend to whom I flought?


My government wanted to ban all flights to Croatia because of the coronavirus. Fortunately, they have changed their mind.


I think, I can because the effect is that I am here with him now.

Sorry, I wanted to write "flew" from: fly - flew - flown :p

So, in your first sentence the present perfect refers to the future - "so I can come to see you next week". Thank you :)
