"from dawn till dusk" or "from dawn to dusk".

Should I say "from dawn till dusk" or "from dawn to dusk"?
@alice-5 You've made 45 posts on the forum. You should have noticed that we require titles to include the sentence or phrase you're asking us about. Titles such as "Which is correct?" are no use. Titles must be unique and relevant only to your thread. I've changed this one for you. Please bear this in mind in future.
Make sure you write a complete sentence to construct your question.

You could use either "till" or "to", but the word order is quite unusual. In BrE, at least, "from dusk till dawn" is almost a set phrase. Of course, that refers to nighttime whereas yours would refer to daytime.

I'd imagine that 'from dawn to dusk', referring to daytime, is probably the more frequent set phrase. The title of the 1996 Robert Rodriguez film I suppose was playing on this.

Granted it was a vampire movie and focused on nocturnal activities, but the more familiar order of 'dusk til dawn' was the order of the film title.
