"From" instead of "of"

Is it wrong to use "from" in my first sentence instead of "of" and in the second?

1. "She went out of the castle" "She went out from the castle."

2. "She went from the castle."

See above. You can use "went from" only if it's followed by a "to" clause.

She went from the castle to the bridge.
