Is it wrong to use "from" in my sentence in B and is the plural form of "soup" correct?

A: "What's the most unusual food you have eaten?"

B: "I think it's a soup from a Black Sea shark. I ike soups."

Yes, and no.

Using "from" makes it sound as if you bought from a shark! We'd say "I think it's shark soup. Specifically Black Sea shark". In fact, we probably wouldn't use "I think" there. We'd say "It's probably shark soup".
When talking in general terms, we use "soup". "I like soup".

But in other contexts is "soups" correct? For example, "We made different soups," "I like seafood soups."

It can be, yes. You're more likely to hear "We made/I like different kinds of soup".

In the context presented I see nothing unusual and I would understand. (Both posts)

I do. Rachel, don't use your original sentences.

Rachel needs to know that her sentences aren't colloquial – even though they may be understandable.

"aren't colloquial" ? Colloquial: Used in familiar and informal conversation. So?

The question is absolutely fine. I would say the answer verges on plain wrong. "I think it's a soup from a Black Sea shark" just doesn't work. I can't imagine a native speaker using it, even in "familiar and informal conversation".

Look for another definition of "colloquial". That's the wrong one for this use.
