I am not sure how to express the following sentences more naturally in English. Can you help me?

( teacher to studetns in class) Oral direction

I am going to give you a handout with a list of academic words. I want you to study the words and be prepared for the quiz I will give you next Monday.

Your instruction is correct grammatically.

Does it sound natural? If not, is there any other way to say that?

It's fine. My only question is what are "academic words"?
