Lauralie2, I also don't understand that. Your posts are laconic which makes it difficult to tell what you actually mean. What do you mean by different forms? Different in meaning or having different different etymologies? (It's just one question, I'm not saying I will understand what you said after you answer it.)

I apologize for the 'laconic' posts. (I also find this thread somewhat confusing to navigate. In reply to 'sources' and 'authorities', I am working from the information provided in this thread by you and the contributors. As for my 'feelings', well...the comment was uncalled for, and quite frankly unprofessional. My background is in theoretical linguistics; my post-graduate degree is in historical linguistics. My posts stand as is. The answers are there. I hope you find what you are looking for. :-D)
