1. Are the underlined words correct in these contexts:
Uncle John sends postcards to Lindsay from cities he visits.
Make a table of notes about your favorite subjects.

2. Which sentence is correct:
A. Lan is sitting between Hung and and Hong on a couch in the living room.
B. Lan is sitting on a couch between Hung and and Hong in the living room.

3. Which is the best choice:
Everyday I get up early to ... morning excercises.
A. take B. make C. do D. have

I appreciate your help. Thanks

Welcome to Using English, tranlam.:-D

1. Yes.

2. They are both correct.

3. In multiple choice questions we expect you to make a choice first, with a reason for your answer. We may then comment.

Note that 'Every day' should be two words and 'exercises' is spelt wrong.

In future, please ask unrelated questions in separate posts, giving each a title which includes a word or words from the phrase being discussed (see the Posting Guidelines). Thank you.

With sentence 2B, it could be argued that it appears that the couch is between Hung and Hong, and Lan is sitting somewhere on that couch.

Thank for you help.

3. Every day I get up early to ... morning exercises.
A. take B. make C. do D. have
I choose C but I think A is correct, too. So I wonder if this multiple choice question is incorrect because it has 2 possible answers.

Only C is natural. You can take some exercise, but not exercises.

Thanks so much for your help. Now I know how to explain to my students.
