Hello.

Have I used "void" correctly and naturally? Is this sentence okay?

Heartbreak left a void in her heart that nothing could fill until her last day on earth.

By heartbreak I mean she was in love with someone and couldn't have him.

Heartbreak doesn't leave a void. That doesn't make sense. It's a thing, not the absence of a thing.

Now, if she lost a love, then that would leave a void in her heart.

What if the heartbreak was a result of a divorce?

The heartbreak of her divorce left a void in her heart that nothing could fill until her last day on earth.

"Her divorce left a void" is OK. Heartbreak already describes the feeling. It doesn't seem right to say heartbreak leaves a void.

Is this completely okay?

Her divorce left a void in her heart that nothing could fill until her last day on earth.

Hello.

Yes.

Is this sentence okay?

It reads well. I do wonder whether we can be sure that nothing can ever fill it.

It's natural written English. It's unlikely in conversation.

I honestly wouldn't worry too much about whether heartbreak could factually leave a void- I'd go with the general idea.
