Could you let me know why "much" can not be replaced with "many" ?

I can't really figure out why.

The meaning is more like "The reasons don't have a lot of relevance", which could be reworded as "much relevance". You can't use "many" with an uncountable noun.

When you quantify this kind of relation with 'to do with', use a lot/(not) much/little, not many/few.
